Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to use this website: with a screen reader, with only a keyboard or with magnification. This is what I do to make that happen.
The standard
This website is built to WCAG 2.2, level AA. It is the same standard I build my clients' websites to.
What I have done
Among other things:
- Everything works with only a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus.
- Text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 everywhere.
- Headings, lists and form fields are real HTML, so a screen reader recognises them.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, nothing moves.
- The page stays usable at 200% zoom and on a narrow screen.
How I test
With the keyboard, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and with automated checks. Automated checks only find some of the problems, so I always test by hand as well.
Known limitations
I know of no problems at the moment. Found one anyway? I would like to hear about it.
Running into something?
Email me and I will fix it, or help you another way. You will hear from me within two business days: hi@creativemediaminds.nl.
